Retro Gaming and Hardware Tinkering Day
February 11 @ 11:00 — 19:00Free
From the weirdos that brought you Retro Game Slam, join us for a day (and possibly night of) retro gaming geekery. Bring your (small) arcade projects, raspberry pi’s powergloves, arduinos and all sorts as we try and make out childhood gaming memories come alive on modern systems! Or just sit around and play games, it’s pretty relaxed.
Important: due to very limited venue capacity, an application is required in order to attend. Please fill the form and we’ll let you know if there’s a spot for you at the beginning of February.
Some ongoing projects we need help with:
– Please make Caroline’s Nintendo power glove + power pad work on Retropie
– Ian’s trying to make a universal retro controller plug, can he? Should he?
– Beziers on Retropie, help!
– I still don’t understand how to save different configurations per game
We will provide a small amount of equipment including arcade buttons, controllers, a couple of raspberry pi’s, soldering equipment, monitors etc but please bring your own gear if you can.
Organised in collaboration with BerlinGameScene.com
