“Come Together – Let’s Celebrate Local Multiplayer Games” is a free exhibition featuring a selection of videogames that are meant to be experienced together with other people, in the same physical space.

Each of the six stations in the Kulturhaus Alte Feuerwache Friedrichshain (located across the street from the Compuerspielemuseum) features two playable games dedicated to a specific aspect of the genre. New games by independent developers made in the last couple of years (including titles not yet available to the public) are presented next to older titles that can be enjoyed using original retro systems.

• Friday April 22nd >>> 16:00-late (opening party with music and drinks from 8pm)
• Saturday April 23rd >>> 10:00-22:00
• Sunday April 24th >>> 10:00-20:00

The exhibition takes place as part of the Gamefest at Computerspielemuseum from April 22nd to April 24th, 2016. The Gamefest is organized by the Computerspielemuseum in cooperation with the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur and the Kulturhaus Alte Feuerwache Friedrichshain under the International Games Week Berlin umbrella and supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
The exhibition is curated by We Love Old Games (Philipp Frei und Mascha Tobe) and Localmultiplayer.com (Lorenzo Pilia).

Die Event-Ausstellung „Come Together – Let’s celebrate Local Multiplayer Games“ hat sich ganz dem spielerischen Miteinander verschrieben.

Jede der sechs Stationen, die im Kulturhaus Alte Feuerwache Friedrichshain auf spielfreudiges und neugieriges Publikum warten, widmet sich einem speziellen Aspekt des Genres und zieht in einer Gegenüberstellung ebenso einen historischen Vergleich.

Ob skurrile Konzepte, ästhetisch Außergewöhnliches oder klassische Gameplays in individuellen Interpretationen – anhand von zwölf spielbaren Titeln präsentiert sich dem Besucher eine bunte Palette aus der Welt der Local Multiplayer zwischen Retro- Schätzen und dem frisch entwickelten State of the Art!

Die Ausstellung findet im Rahmen des Gamefest am Computerspielemuseum vom 22.4.-24.4.2016 statt. Das Gamefest wird vom Computerspielemuseum in Kooperation mit der Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur und dem Kulturhaus Alte Feuerwache Friedrichshain im Rahmen der International Games Week Berlin veranstaltet und vom Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg unterstützt.
