Cultural Heritage Meets Game Development
As collectibles and objects of scientific study, computer games have long been at the focus of cultural heritage and research institutions. However, sustained dialogue between universities, archives, libraries and museums and creative companies in the games industry is still in its early stages — despite the considerable potential for mutual learning, inspiration and collaboration.
To explore the scope of such cross-disciplinary exchange and to discuss concrete fields of application for gamification and 3D animation technologies, the FemDevsMeetup network, in collaboration with NFDI4Culture, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, and the Centre for Cultural Education of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Haus Bastian), invites you to this event.
