Financing Event and Industry Reception.

The Franco German Game Initiative is a financing event and industry reception held for the first time ever on April 22, 2015, as part of the International Games Week Berlin. It combines a series of events focused on promoting and strengthening the games industries in Germany and France, as well as the cooperation of both countries in this area. The program will consist of four individual events taking place at the French Embassy in Berlin.

9:30-13:00 Franco-German Meetings of Video Games
High level French and German stakeholders (political, economic, academic organisations) in the video games industry are invited to discuss and explore future collaborations regarding education, employment and financing of video games.

11:00-13:00 ENTER Europe – What’s Hot About Financing European Games Companies?
Business angels, venture capitalists, public and private lenders are invited to learn more about important market trends in one of Europe’s most thriving industries. Seasoned investors and sector experts will share their view on actual investment opportunities and deal terms, on risk mitigation and on maximising profits. Please note that this session is for investors only.

14:00-16:00 Investment Pitch for Games | Focus: France – Germany
Twelve French and German video games companies will have five minutes to convince a panel of European equity investors. Companies are currently being selected through a European competition. Applyhere until March 8, 2015.

16:00-18:00 European Games Elevator Pitch and Networking Reception with Welcome Note by the Ambassador of the French Republic
