On July 23rd, we kick off a whole new movie program, featuring the best movies about technology, games and everything new and exciting! Every 2 weeks a new movie in your local hotspot for interactive technology, that for one evening is a place for sitting back and relaxing.

The first movie is GAMELOADING, featuring many of the developers we work together with! Fernando Ramallo, Robin Arnott & Robin Baumgarten already show their faces in the trailer, and there any many more indies talking about their passion for creating new experiences. GAMELOADING – RISE OF THE INDIES explores the new global subculture of independent game development. In the spirit of movements like the French New Wave, the Punk and Grunge scenes, hundreds of indie auteurs are emerging and finding success with their own unique voices and artistic goals.

Much like the music and film industries before it, the medium of video games is currently undergoing a monumental shift. The traditional model, of large, faceless corporations developing generic, blockbuster action games is being disrupted by independent game makers creating innovative, personal experiences.

GameLoading aims to capture this exciting moment in time, taking a personal and holistic look at the passionate people expressing themselves through video games, and in the process, creating an international community dedicated to developing the culture of the medium.
