Talk & Play #41 — CANCELLED
24 March 2020 @ 19:00 — 23:00
FreeTalk & Play #41 has been cancelled!
If you’ve been following the news lately, this announcement won’t be a surprise: we’ve decided to cancel Talk & Play #41 (originally scheduled to take place on March 24th, 2020), due to the coronavirus. We believe this is the most sensible thing to do, based on the information currently available — it just doesn’t make sense to put anyone at risk. We plan to resume the event in May, assuming it will be safe to do it then. Make sure to join our Meetup group if you’d like to receive a notification once a new event is announced. Take care!
RSVP via Meetup is mandatory to attend the talks, due to limited seating capacity. Registration won’t be required to attend the event from 21:00 for the game showcase part.
Talk & Play is a free event, taking place every two months, that provides the opportunity to game enthusiasts, players and makers to meet in a friendly, relaxed and safe environment. Everybody’s welcome, regardless of their background and knowledge level: if you like games, we’ll make sure you have a good time! This is NOT an event only aimed at developers.

As usual, there will also be a section dedicated to short announcements from the community – get in touch to reserve a spot: https://berlingamescene.com/contact/

THE SHOWCASE
Would you like to exhibit your game (or game-related project, such as a tool, or book) during the second part of the event? Then fill this form: http://bit.ly/talkandplaygames — places are limited so the sooner you do it, the better.
All types of games (and game-related projects) are welcome, both digital and analog/physical, regardless of the current status (released, unreleased, prototype…) and the people behind it (company, students, hobbyists…).
Registrations will close a week before the event, or earlier if there are no more spots left. We can usually show around 20 projects, and we have a smaller separate room that works well for VR.
We can provide tables, chairs, power strips and internet connection — that means that all the rest (devices, chargers, controllers…) are up to you. If your project has sound, we recommend bringing a pair of headphones for the attendees to use, as the room gets quite noisy.
