Stratosphere Games is an AAA mobile game developer based in Berlin, Germany, looking for a Mission/Level Designer to support the development of existing and upcoming projects.
As a Mission Designer you are creating exiting levels with missions for our games. You are responsible for the progression, mission balancing and reward structure based on feedback from the Creative Director and the other designers. As our Mission designer you are the owner and evangelist of the level content and evaluate and react to player feedback and data. You will work together with the game designers, community manager and data analysts. As the owner of the mission & level content you are responsible to assure the quality of the players experience.
Your responsibilities:
- Participate in design meetings and community feedback sessions
- Own and create levels and missions and iterate them based on feedback & data
- Prototype your content in Unity and our custom level design tools
- Work together with the design team and the programmers to ensure the functionality of your missions
- Balance the games’ data driven mission values and take care of the livesheet data
- Perform mission playtests and evaluate the results
Requirements:
- Experience as a Game or level Designer, preferably in mobile game development
- Already worked on shipped games
- Experience in working with Unity or other scripting languages for mission & level design
- Knowledge of working with excel, word, PowerPoint and google docs
- Ability to evaluate mission results & data and balance them
- Knowledge of mobile game level design methods
