Talk & Play #11 Recap

Talk & Play is a free event organised by BerlinGameScene.com that provides the opportunity to game enthusiasts, players and makers to meet and exchange knowledge in a friendly, relaxed and safe environment. It’s also the reason why this site exists.

Talk & Play #11, which took place on February 25 2015, was a special one: it was the first organised independently, without the support of OpenTechSchool, and also the first happening at Supermarkt instead of co.up – a venue I love, but that’s too small for what the event has become.  Because of these “firsts”, I must admit I was initially unsure of what to expect in terms of participation from the public. Global Game Jam Berlin 2015: Highlights and Interviews

The Global Game Jam is the world’s largest game jam event taking place around the world at physical locations. In just 48 hours, between January 23rd and 25th 2015, more than 20.000 people in 78 different countries created 5.438 games, based on this year’s theme What do we do now?.

The Berlin Mini Game Jam and Gamestorm teamed up once again to organise the Berlin jam site, with the support of Wooga and GA Hochschule, attracting over 100 jammers that created 26 games. Here’s my personal highlights. Continue reading Global Game Jam Berlin 2015: Highlights and Interviews
